Shazeeda is a mum of three and a Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist.  As a social worker, she has worked for over 20 years with children and families supporting all aspects of health and well-being throughout Burlington, Oakville and the GTA.  As a mum, she remembers winging it trying to get her babies to sleep, listening to well-meaning friends and family give advice, and reading different “how to” books which only served to confuse her and her baby and leave her feeling like she was not being the best parent she could be.  Shazeeda understands that tackling sleep the right way can help you and your child! As your sleep consultant, she helps give you the tools and strategies to reach the goal of good sleep.

As a professional whose practice is founded on using evidence-based therapies and intervention, sleep interventions are no different. The connection between sleep and health is clear, so giving your little one good sleep habits helps with giving them their best start! Drawing on her years of experience as a social worker working with children and families and personally understanding the experience of parenthood, Shazeeda provides services with professionalism, care, and compassion. When Shazeeda isn’t working, she enjoys travelling with her family, relaxing at home with a good book, or grabbing a coffee (or ice cream in the summer!) and taking a walk along the lake in Burlington.
