Struggling through a toddler sleep strike? We have Struggling through a toddler sleep strike? We have some suggestions:

SLEEP TIP: Create a quiet time sleep box when dealing with toddler sleep strikes. Here are some suggestions for what to put in it and why we recommend it:

The longer your little one can stay in their room or in their bed, the better chance they have of falling asleep. When you are struggling with their nap (and dealing with nap strikes), head to the dollar store and fill a Quiet Time Box full of books, puzzles, colouring and activity books, figurines, etc.

At the start of each nap, they are allowed to choose one toy from the box and play with it quietly in their room. At the end of the nap, they can put it back in the box. Next day, rinse and repeat.

Not sure if they are right for you? Here's what #goodnightgrads have to say:

"We purchased the DIY newborn sleep program when our daughter was five weeks old. She is our first baby and we had no idea where to start to help her sleep! The DIY program is comprehensive and tremendously helpful. We learned so much that helped to set our daughter up for good sleep habits. By 2 months she was taking great naps and sleeping in 6hr stretches at night which lengthened to 9hrs each night by 3 months. She’s a happy well-rested baby! And, we’re happy and well-rested parents – a win for everyone!"

Are you worried about how our online sleep programs can help your baby get the sleep you all need? Tired of spending countless hours Googling for answers?

"The set up and content is very relevant and what new parents need and want to know but don’t want to search for for hours and get different information."

Do you worry that your preteen or teen is too old to learn better sleep habits but know they need more rest?

"I was struggling helping my 11 year sleep better and needed sleep tips that worked. The Teen Sleep Course was easy to understand, suggested straight forward techniques to apply when & where needed, and most of all it has been successful in changing long-term habits that we had not known how to approach until now. It gave us all the confidence to believe in what we were striving for & that this was a proven way to get to make positive, life long changes. To say it was worth every penny is an understatement, years of fumbling for routines & guessing what to do have been replaced with clarity, confidence & success. Thank you for this programme that is targeted specifically for older children, I am so grateful to have found it."

Away from home and worried about naps? READ THIS!

The key to napping away from your normal environment is to set your expectations and bring what you can to recreate your home environment.

This may not always be possible, and that is okay. As parents, we can only do what we can do to keep our little ones’ schedules and sleep on track and consistent when away from home.

Bedtime is always flexible based on naps.

Use an early bedtime to help make up for any lost sleep. Following the 80/20 rule allows you to still get out and have some freedoms, but continue with your consistent routine.

Balance is key.

Do you have questions about napping away from home?
